The 3rd Annual Chicago Japanese Film Collective is being held from June 22 through July 1. The closing film of the 3rd edition will be "The World Doesn't Notice Us". Please don't miss this family drama full of love between a Filipino mother and her son living in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture ！.

The 3rd Annual Chicago Japanese Film Collective began on June 22 （ Thurs ）. As the only Japanese film festival in the Midwest, this year we will screen two films in theaters and eight films online, and on July 1, we will be screening "The World Doesn't Notice Us (Angry Son)" as the closing film of the festival. The film tells the story of a gay high school student, Jungo, who struggles to find his father and the love he craves in his relationship with his mother ・ family secrets ・ and in his future with his girlfriend.
